1. Who we are

This Privacy Policy describes how Snappza Truck ("Snappza", "we", "us") collects, uses and shares information when you use the Snappza website or order from us. Snappza operates from K Narayanapura Main Road, Bangalore.

2. Information we collect

We collect only what we need to take and deliver your order.

• Account information — name, email and/or phone number when you sign in (e.g. via Supabase authentication or magic link).
• Order & delivery details — delivery address, building/flat label, contact phone, and items ordered.
• Location data — your approximate GPS location (when you grant browser permission) to check if you fall within our 2.5 km delivery radius.
• Payment data — handled directly by Razorpay. We receive only the payment status, the order/payment IDs and a short reference; we do not see or store card numbers, CVV or UPI PINs.
• Device & usage data — basic technical data like browser type, device type, IP address and pages viewed, collected via standard server logs and analytics.
• Cookies & local storage — used for session management, cart persistence and analytics.

3. How we use your information

• To accept, prepare, deliver and track your order.
• To process payments and refunds securely via Razorpay.
• To send order-related messages (e.g. order confirmation, rider en route, delivered) by email or in-app.
• To improve menu, pricing and operations using aggregated and anonymised analytics.
• To prevent fraud, abuse and misuse of the platform.
• To comply with our legal obligations, including FSSAI and tax recordkeeping.

4. Who we share information with

We don't sell your data. We share the minimum necessary with a few trusted service providers:

• Razorpay — for payment processing and refunds.
• Supabase — for authentication, database hosting and realtime updates.
• Hosting & infrastructure — Vercel (frontend), AWS (backend services), and similar providers for standard operations and logging.
• Email providers — for transactional emails like receipts and order updates.
• Our delivery rider — receives your name, phone and delivery address to complete the delivery.
• Authorities — when we are legally required to share information.

5. Cookies & analytics

We use cookies and similar technologies to keep you signed in, remember your cart, and understand how the Site is used. Analytics cookies are aggregated and used only to improve the product. You can clear cookies anytime in your browser settings; this may sign you out and clear your cart.

6. Data retention

We retain order records and invoices for as long as needed to meet tax, accounting and food-safety obligations under Indian law. Account and contact data is retained while your account is active. You can request deletion of your account by emailing contact@snappza.in — we may retain anonymised order history needed for our records.

7. Your rights

You can ask us to:

• Access the information we hold about you.
• Correct information that is inaccurate or out of date.
• Delete your account and personal information, subject to legal retention requirements.
• Opt out of non-essential marketing communications.

8. Security

We use industry-standard practices — TLS encryption for all traffic, hashed credentials, role-based admin access, and scoped API tokens — to protect your data. No system is completely secure; if we ever detect a breach affecting your personal information, we will notify you as required by law.

9. Children

Snappza is not directed to children under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from minors. If you believe we have, please contact us and we will delete it.

10. Third-party links

The Site may link to external sites such as snappza.in and Razorpay. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those sites — please review their policies separately.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy as our service evolves. The latest version will always be posted on this page with an updated date.
